Barloggg,
Well, I have no idea what they use to sedate him. The vet said she tried something different yesterday than the one they used in the past. She mentioned the name of the sedative, but I do not remember what she said. I do not think they knocked him completely out. He usually gets a shot of some kind as well as the sedation so it takes him a day or two to get back to normal. Good luck to YOU!!
Fred_in_Westland, thank you! I had a nice dog Apelsinka who took a long time to get used to nail trimming. What kind of sedation do you use? In our country we try not to sedate dog when possible.
So great to see you with the dogs! Today I took King to the vet's for a rabies shot and nail trim! He has to be sedated to touch his nails!! Stay well and travel safely!!
Thanks! I am not sure of his pedigree. My son went to Indiana to the breeder to get him. The breeder, I understand, trains police dogs, but this one did not have the police dog personality. Jigen is a smaller German Shepherd.
