Hekleblomst

Vil de prøve å hekle ein blomst?

(Sidan 17. mai er over for denne gongen lagar eg ein litt meir sommaraktig blomst også.)

Would you like to make yourself i litle flower? Just find some yarn and a crochet hook that goes with it.

I’m using US terminology here. ch = chain, st = stitch, sc = single crochet, ss = slip stitch, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet  (Follow the link to pages explaining the stitches.)

Runde 1: Begynn med ein “magisk ring” – hekle 12 fastmasker, 1 kjm i første fm, stram ringen etterpå.

Round 1: Start with a magic loop. Make 12 sc, 1 ss in first sc. Tighten the ring.

Runde 2: 4 lm, hopp over 1 fm, fm i neste m, 3 lm, fm i andre fm, etc. rundt ringen. Slutt med kjm i første lm.

Round 2: ch 4, skip 1 sc, sc in next st, ch3, skip 1 sc, sc in next st, repeat all the way round. End with ss in first ch.

Runde 3: 1 lm, * 1 fm, 1 hst, 3 st, 1 hst, 1 fm* i kvar lm-løkke. Slutt med kjm i første lm.

Round 3: ch1, * 1sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc, 1sc* in every ch-loop. End with ss in first ch. You now have the first row of petals.

Runde 4: Klar for ny farge! Hekle ei fm rundt ein av stolpane  (fastmaskene) frå runde 2. Hekle 5 lm, fm i neste stolpe heile vegen rundt. Slutt med kjm i første fm.

Round 4: New colour for the next row of petals! Start with making a sc rround one of the sc in row 2. Ch5, sc around next sc. End with ss in first sc.

Runde 5: 1 lm, *1fm, 1hst, 5st, 1hst, 1fm* i kvar lm-boge. Slutt med kjm i første fm.

Round 5: Ch1, * 1 ch, 1hdc, 5dc, 1hdc, 1sc*

Runde 6 og 7: Nesten heilt lik runde 4 og 5, men med litt større kronblad. Hekle fm i dei rosa stolpane, 7 lm i mellom. Kronblada er * 1fm, 1hst, 7st, 1hst, 1fm*.

Round 6 and 7: Allmost the same as round 4 & 5, but with slightly larger petals. Crochet the sc in the pink sc as you see on the photo. Each ch loop is now 7ch. The petals in round 7 is * 1sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 1sc*.

No kan du halde fram med å lage så mange runder du vil. For kvar runde med “kronblad” aukar du antal lm i bogane med 2, og heklar 2 fleire stavar i kronblada.

You can now make as many rows of petals as you like. For each new petal row you wil increase the ch loops with two st, and make two more dc in the petals. Do you understand?

I midten av blomsten kan du pynte med ein stor knapp, eller ein liten hekla ball. (Eller ingenting) Slik heklar eg ballen:

Lag ein “magisk ring”, hekle 6 fm i ringen (stram). Hekle 2 fm i kvar fm (no har du 12m). Hekle 1 fm, 2 fm i neste heile vegen rundt (no har du 18m). Hekle 2 runder med 18m. Hekle 2 saman heile vegen rundt (no har du 9 fm). Fyll litt vatt i ballen og sy igjen åpninga.

Decorate the middle of your floweer with a button (or nothing) or you can make a little crochet ball like this:

(You will not end every row with a ss here so keep track of were you start each row. Use st markers if you need – I prefer to just count the st since the ball is so little)

Start with a magic loop. Make 6 sc in the loop. Make 2 sc in every sc of last round (12 sc). 1sc, 2sc all the way round (18 sc). Make two rounds of 18 sc. Crochet two sc together all the way round (9 sc). Fill your ball and use a needle to close it. Attach it to you flower.
