What if I were a firefly?
Where will I go?
What if I become a firefly?
Will anybody know?
Will anybody hear my rhymes?
Will anybody feel my presence in their lives?
What if I become a firefly?
Will they take me as a star on the darkened sky?
What if I come out from fire?
What if from someones hot desire?
What will I do? What can a firefly?
Is that to fly until I die?
If tis the way to ashes I will burn
And fall in snow from the arch
Then, I assume, they will collect me
To make some more exalting drug
What if I be lost like firefly?
Full of rhymes and minds to tell
Will they mix me into alcohol?
Or take ashes dry, as well
