Yahoo just can't let it go... Even if Russian Olympic would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, the american media would try to find anything negative about it anyway. It feels that the cold war is back with all this anti-russian propaganda. Admit it: the Olympic was great, many countries sent their athletes to Sochi and all these athletes were great, medals or no medals doesn't matter SOOOO much. Don't mix sport and politics! And by the way the number of the official delegations with the highest rank politicians who was in Sochi during the opening ceremony was the highest compare to any Olympics before. The anti-russian hysterical propaganda looks funny at this point. Say thank you to all athletes who went there to compete, they ALL were great (except couple whiners -we all know who they are)

This Olympic experience was a sad statement for U.S. media and attitudes. Coverage was EXTREMELY slanted and, as for U.S. Hockey... a 2nd and 4th place finish by the women's and men's hockey teams respectively, and the media makes them out to be tragic losers??? Will we ever get over ourselves enough to see that the rest of the world have competitive spirit and some pretty fine strengths, too? Maybe we could take a lesson from the Netherlands... a small country that worked hard and nearly dominated every event at the speedskating track. How about this... we could celebrate the successes we have had, and then work harder in preparation for the next Olympics. The rest of the world is going to do just that. Count on it.
