Dear Sam,

I’m sorry it’s come to this after all these years. I’m so sorry I’ve lied to you for so long. Don’t think there’s no love either because there is I just can’t be with you like that anymore. I’ve felt this way for a long time and I tried to ignore it god I tried but I failed Sam and now. I’ve got to listen to myself and do what’s best for me. Thank you Sam for some of the best years of my life. Thank you Sam for rescuing me from my own private hell and thank you for our beautiful son.

I love you

Chester put the pen down removed his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose fighting back the tears that threatened to spill over. He felt guilty for what he was doing but he was doing the best thing for him and he KNEW it was for the best.


“Chaz you ok man?” Mike asked carefully as he walked into their shared hotel room.

“I don’t honestly know at the minute but I’ve got the feeling it’s gonna get better” Chester said sounding unsure of himself.

“I’m here for you Chaz. If you need to crash you’re not alone” Mike said reassuringly closing the space between them Mike pulled Chester from the chair and embraced him tightly as Chester began to sob openly.

“I love you Chester I’ll always be here for you” Mike whispered in Chester’s ear.

He still couldn’t believe what Chester was giving up for him and it made Mike love him all the more. “I love you too Mikey” Chester smiled looking into Mikes eyes before he leaned into kiss him with all the love and passion that he felt for his band mate.
