«Ab ovo: prizmatic dualizm of the White»
White ia as global dualizm of everithing in it. Dualizm of meanings, associations, stuctures, physics, etc.
To name just an example, both birth and death are associated with the white, despite of its full opposition, joy of the first one and pacification of the last.
I went on researching the associations of birth and mystery of it. The most recognizable symol or it in different cultures is the Egg.
Actually, an oval streamline form contrasts the rigid cover, which protects the inside from aggressive environment. And the main destination, which is giving the new birth, is associated with the appearance of the colourful rainbow which is trapped in white, but should be released by the prizm.
As far as I`m concerned this physical matter, disvoved by Sir I. Newton by chance, generaly depicts the eaning of the white.
On the other hand, having such rigidness and reliability, the cover of the egg is rathe fragile and transparency as the white.
Gradually the idea of compleating these three divided part, namely: meaning, associotion and physics, has been developing to the fashion outcome.
I`ve taken the shape of an egg and connected it with the idea of outside rigid skeleton. If we throw some attentive glance at it we`ll see that this hard thread cover expresses the tranperency.
Uniting the white structures with colour mixed spots inside is allegiry for global snare of colours by the white.
Moreover, our feeling of the white pressure depending on lightness. If it`s too much, as in winter bright sunny day, when snow reflects the sunrais by the whole surface, the sensation of the white is of hard strong colour. But recalling soft shades of things, which grasped by the fog, and feeling of something mysterious, draw the opposite side of the white, side of softness.
Basing on this dualizm of the white, shown above, the dress demonstrates hte diversity in the relative absence of colour. Tender mesh with mixed colours and clear crossings of the cover threads depicts it well.
Major bright colours without secondary shades were chosen for the material realization of the rainbow, which appears from white reflection. Their mixing reminds mixture of white and yellow of egg, broken to the frying-pan, rather than the well-organized separation of colours in the prizm outcome.
To sum up, in spite of general perception of the white as nothing or lightning, this fashion outcome becomes the symbol of the white as trap of colours.
