The average temperature of the mine is around 10 Celsius degrees. After visiting Deva fortress and admiring the land of Transylvania from higher ground, it’s time to drive to the next stop or to find accommodation in Deva. If you visit in summer, make sure to bring a cap and water and comfortable walking shoes, as there is no shade and the sun is burning on most summer days.
