This might just be the best song from Hazbin Hotel so far. It feels like an actual music video that I would imagine watching on VH1 (or MTV if you are older than me) back in the day. The animation and artwork are stunning as per usual with Vivziepop's work, but this is especially fluid and polished. Every single frame of this could potentially be someone's wallpaper because that is just how good this looks. I am also surprised by how they were able to tell a character backstory through visuals and lyrical hints alone. We learn quite a bit about Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb here and it makes them much more interesting and compelling characters than they already were before. I also quite like how it shows off the friendship between the two and how that they help each other out of tough situations. Cherri Bomb wasn't blowing up random places because they were almost all locations where Angel Dust experience a traumatic experience in the past. That also should be obvious from the fact that Cherri blew up a billboard of Valentino. Speaking of Valentino this music video is enough for me to already hate him, but I suppose that he serves a purpose in the story as a catalyst of development that they could give Angel Dust further down the line. As a whole I love this music video and it just makes me excited for more Hazbin Hotel content in the future.
