As the name suggests, Waves Seafood Buffet offers a range of seafood options including prawns, oysters, crab, fresh fish, and more. Regardless of what you’re craving, the Gold Coast has an option suitable for every family. G2 Korean BBQ is a multi-level restaurant nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District on Elizabeth Street. It offers a unique dining experience where patrons can grill premium cuts of meat and seafood right at their table. Come dinnertime, pick from sets that feed between two to six, alongside house specialty roast meat dishes and fried chicken. Their Mixed Pork Knuckle and Steamed Pork Belly Set ($58++), AKA bossam, comes highly recommended.
Depending on whether you’d like wine with your lunch, the pricing for an adult at Churrascos can range from $59 to $75, while kids under 6 eat for free. We’re quite partial to DIY dining—it's the fun part of cooking and there are no dishes to contend with at the end—and for us, the most fun way to DIY dine is at a Korean BBQ. As we used BB 1 for 1, we had to adhere to a 100 min time limit and were charged original price $29.90 + svc charge for 2 pax. Non-BB customers can get 20% off original price and there is no time limit. The other starters section had Indian, Afghani and Chinese.

Located in Market City, KOGI is all about bringing luxury to the Korean BBQ experience. The Haymarket restaurant offers over 15 cuts of premium wagyu beef and pork, with plenty of soups, banchan, fried chicken, chilled noodles and bibimbap to pair with. Try your skills on the hot coal grill for the meats and let executive chef Hang Jun Chung and his nearly 40 years of experience in Korean cuisine do the rest. The menu features a wide variety of meat skewers, seafood, cooked meats, salads, side dishes, and desserts. Some of the standout dishes include the spicy lamb ribs, marinated wagyu ribs, cooked lamb ribs, and beef skewers. The establishment also offers a selection of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines to complement the meal.
Best one I’ve attempted in each Korean BBQ eatery I’ve went to. My second most favorite is their fish flapjack really – very fresh and brimming with fish. Food is of decent quality and the price is sensible so it’s well worth your money. Armed force Stew has bunches of fixings and pastries were very satisfying as well.

The choices of side dishes, fruits, mushrooms, vegetables, surimi and sauces were good. We ordered kimchi, several portions of pork in various flavours, sliced and bulgogi beef, curry and garlic chicken, and ssamjang & bean paste for a start. The Gold Coast Casino buffet serves a wide variety for families to indulge in.

Having experienced this chain in Glen Waverley which you can read here, I was very interested to see what BBQ-K promised with its all-you-can-eat experience.
At this All-You-Can-Eat Korean Grill Barbeque restaurant, you’ll find a spread of 10 to 12 different types of signature marinated meats prepared with fresh ingredients. Each item on the menu is specially curated by a team of Korean chefs, serving you the authentic taste of Korean barbecue. A la carte buffet ($50++) draws in both the lunch and dinner crowds and has remained a constant crowd favourite for their value-for-money grub over the years. Their extensive menu features sashimi, sushi, handrolls, grilled dishes, deep-fried dishes, noodles, and rice options. You can expect sashimi that’s freshly prepared upon order and sliced into thick pieces.

Each day, Govindas vegetarian menu includes new options so that visitors to the area of Surfers Paradise Boulevard can discover new flavours. The menu at G2 Korean BBQ is designed primarily for sharing and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. We indulged in the fried kimchi rice and a set menu featuring pork, beef, soup, and seaweed salad.

The softness and unmistakable taste of the dark rice batter serves as a decent differentiation. Expect that you’ll leave the put with major areas of strength for a smell on you! Region isn’t that cooling and the gill skillet could be cleaner as there were a ton of dark stains around. Great for the people who simply need a decent bar-b-que and feast reasonably with companions.

Plenty of side dishes are served up front, and make sure to make a booking as it’s a cosy little restaurant that all the locals know and love. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the meat options, so we recommend going for a BBQ set, which also comes with your choice of kimchi or soybean paste stew, corn cheese, rice, salad, and Mandu. The taste of the meats were average though some of the cuts were tough . The ssamjang and bean paste had no difference in taste though they were visibly different in coluors. Both of the sauces were too salty and we suspect there were MSG added to them.
