AYANO IMAI Born in London, England, in 1980, Ayano Imai spent much of her youth traveling the globe with her family. From 1986 to 1990, she lived in Japan then relocated to the United States, splitting time between Connecticut and Los Angeles. After returning to Japan in 1994, she studied Japanese painting, specifically mineral pigment painting, at Musashino Art University in Tokyo. While there, she developed an interest in illustration. From 2003–2006, she participated in the illustration exhibition at the Bologna Book Fair. Her first picture book was published in 2006. She now lives in Chiba, Japan.

Interesting prints on clothing created by the designer from Japan Kazumasa Nagai . Her bright prints, each is present decorative pattern of the animal. This design attracts attention and quickly remembered. Each print is shades of blue, green, yellow, red colors. It seems to me that in such clothes, feel special.

Unique and unusual pictures creates photographer from Osaka. He puts the flowers in a container, throws down the ice, and waits until they melt, after photographing. Pictures are as delicate oil painting. Interesting technique allows you to play photos in a new light. At first glance I didn't understand immediately that this is not a painting, not an oil painting, not a watercolor, and a picture!

Whether its peeling paint, rusty rails, chipped concrete or graffiti-on-graffiti, for those who love the city, decay is the new vintage. Its also an overarching theme in Yusuke Kagaris bags and accessories. The designer, who collaborated with Keisuke Nagami in an exhibition last month, puts the same attention to detail into his pieces as any other designer. Except, instead of trying to make them look new, he tries to make them look 100 years old.

Living in the city, in my eyes the continuity created by walls and concrete is one beautiful landscape, said Kagari in a statement in Japanese.
The large junctions. The subway stations. The old town walls that that change color over time. The abandoned buildings. The factories. The colors of the walls on a rainy day. All the various landscapes. If only I could recreate it. If only I could carry them around with me. I think thats what this is all about.

Simply put, each of Kagaris pieces is a love letter to the city and all its beautiful cuts and bruises.
