а что я делаю когда мне не спится и нету вдохновения? да да - маюсь фигней проходя глупые тесты которые только что вывели что я.... 29летний добрый умный(даже гениальный) панк-звездочет, со склонностями к бизнесу, в 7 реинкарнации (прежде была гладиатором) =) ...
а еще к нам приходил Ник (мамин знакомый...) с новой женой (русской женой) и сыном (12 лет?) ... нормальные люди=) мне понравились..=)

а еще.... кери ламер... =) буду на нее ругаться пока она не напишет форму в универ... задрала.. пару часов займет и я перестану ее пинать.. но не хочется чтобы она просто из за своей неорганизованности все испортила себе же.... =)

Ever since I was a child, the beauty and elegance of mathematics have fascinated me. I always
believed in power of algebraic models, and as Pythagoras said, Numbers rule the universe.
Although the concept of a clockwork universe had fallen in recent decades, the possibility of
being able to tell the future and the past using just formulae makes mathematics to me truly
the queen of sciences.
Reading books such as Brief History of Time and Universe in a Nutshell by Stephen Hawking
helped me to think more about the uses of Pure Mathematics to explain the world around us with
simplicity and elegance. From the moment I realised the power of numbers, I took great
interest in studying them in depth, to pursue my ambition for research.
In this respect, I think it is very important to not only gain masses of knowledge and
techniques, but to develop logic and unusual approaches to problem solving, which in my
opinion, lead to all discoveries in the world. I took part in the Maths Challenge every year,
gaining gold certificates. I find STEP and AEA problems rather exciting, as they allow me to
practise extracting the essential elements of a problem and to analyse possible solutions, as
well as thinking more deeply about the material covered in lessons. I also believe that being
able to convey mathematical ideas in an understandable way is really important, as I had
discovered while doing mathematics tuition with year 5 and 7 pupils. As well as tuition, my
other subjects have helped me to develop good communication skills, mainly being my language
studies, which helped me to develop concise clear communication and the ability to research
and present independently researched topics. Physics, on the other hand, gave me experience in
the application of mathematical techniques and tested my ability to absorb new, unusual ideas,
such as quantum behaviour. I chose my A-levels to ensure that I had a diverse selection which
would help me in supporting the skills which I gain in my mathematics lessons, such as an
independent and self reliant approach to maths and the obligation to complete each task to the
greatest standard and with great care and attention, which maths certainly requires. This
skill has been also supported by an extended project on Models of Planetary Motion, in which I
have shown yet again that mathematical ideas can be used to support and prove ideas and
theories proposed by people. It had also allowed me to study more about the history of
mathematics, as I think it is really important to know about great people and thinkers, such
as Aristotle, Euclid, Euler, or Kepler. I also got a taste of what it would be like to work in
a research environment when I went on my work experience at University College London, where I
worked for a week as a lab technician. The time I spent there really inspired and motivated me
to become a researcher myself, and seeing my life long passion for mathematics I decided that
there isn't a better job in the world.
To be honest, the skills which I obtained through mathematics are important to my life outside
college, seeing that I attend shooting club, where it is vital to concentrate and be self
disciplined. So far, I am participating in and leading the Surrey Ladies competition. Another
one of my hobbies is astronomy, I always was fascinated by stars, and how people can tell so
much just by observing. In my last school year I completed astronomy GCSE in my own time, and
I found it really inspirational. My love for a challenge had also driven me to undertake the
Duke of Edinburgh award, which provided me with the opportunity to learn to balance my studies
with my extra-curricular activities.
I believe that a degree in mathematics will help me to follow my ambitions to become a
researcher and study the advancement and perfection of mathematics. I think that through my
years in university I will develop my passion and abilities to very high degree.
