Raymond Depardon..~March,15th 2009, Paris~



Twenty-three years ago, I discovered Depardon through his Book: "Les Fiancées de Saïgon"...
I immedialtly loved his photos and the way he was commenting them with short, unfinished sentences...with sometimes just some few words...but which were meaning a lot by the silence surrounding them...

Last week, I've bought my second Depardon's Book: "Voyages"...and it was a real shock...
I needed one week to be able to escape from it...


This book is dangereous for some people...it gives you the Desire to quite your job, to bring with you the one you love, to take a small bag with just two jean's and two sweaters.... to run to the first airport for buying airplane tickets and fly at the other side of the world for taking photos... :(
