hello all busy learning hairpin lace from some nice ladies here. Many thanks to such nice videos, your work is so clear and easy to follow. Looking forward to learning this lovely technique again as it has been many years since I worked this with my Grandmother.
Boy this has been a very busy week! I've been trying to get some Barbie clothes finished up for my Grand-daughter. I've also been trying to finish up the liner for a crochet purse I've made for my best friend.
I went to the fabric store yesterday and found some really nice fabric to make a couple of new tops for me!! Yes for me...you know we are always at the bottom of the list when it comes to making things for people :) And yes I picked up MORE fabric for doll clothes to include a dress pattern for Grand-daughters 20.32 cm tall dolly. This pattern I liked because it's a dress outfit printed onto the fabric and when I cut it out I also traced the pieces onto brown paper to make more and possibly to modify the pattern for different styles.
Soon I'll have to plant our spring garden as it's really starting to warm up here in Florida. Danger of frost must be over because the wild Yellow Jasmine on the fence is in full bloom!! Also Robins and Cardinals and House Wrens have also shown up this past week so it must be almost time for spring!!
Hello I live in the USA. I am mother, wife and grandmother. I love to do needle working of all sorts and I'm always looking to learn new types of knitting.
