St Petersburg, my birthplace, a wonderful city, built by Peter the Great, with beautiful churches, grand palaces, opening bridges and "white nights". After the terrorist attack, hundreds of thousands of people were trapped in the centre of the city, but the people of St. Petersburg helped each other to get home by offering free rides in their own cars. Several taxi companies, including Uber also were taking people home free of charge, many restaurants, including KFC, were giving everyone free hot drinks, several petrol stations were filling cars with petrol for free. This is how it was in Paris and Brussels people stand together and help each other. St Petersburg we are proud you you!
