Pages of magic

As they flip and flip,
Pages as white as snow,
And letters as black as night,
Words crawling around the whole paper
Trying to find their spot in the sentence.
And again,
The flip and flip,
At last coming to the end
Of the smooth pile of paper
And coming to the end of their flipping,
Forever.

The Night Traveler

At night
You travel
With your hairy feet
As you crawl on car tops
And all I can hear
Are your black and blue wings flapping
Flap!!! Flap!!!
And all I can see is you,
The night beetle
Crawling
As if you were a newborn baby,
That is
Lost
Hungry
Ans seeking its fortunes of the night.
How did you get into my house?!

Toy Freak
I entered the toy store with my mom,
Too many kids screaming
I think -
All of them must be toy maniacs,
Like me!
I ask her
Gor one of those enormous Lego sets,
But all I can hear back is:
"No, no,
You can get an action figure sweetie,
Those are way too expensive".
And I get annoyed,
Everybody gets one,
Why can't I?"
