NOTES
1. Sweater is made from 60 (60, 92) full motifs, 10 (10, 14) half motifs, and 4 quarter motifs.
2. Full motifs are worked in joined rounds, with RS facing at all times. Join, but do not turn, at the ends of rounds. Half and quarter motifs are worked back and forth in rows.
3. A "join-as-you-go" technique is used to join motifs to neighboring motifs. Motifs are joined to neighboring motifs when working Round/Row 6 (joining round/row). Refer to assembly diagram for placement of motifs.
4. Work full motif 1, then work additional motifs (full, half or quarter) one at a time, joining to neighboring motif(s) while working Round/Row 6.
5. Quarter motifs, at lower side edges, are only joined at top of quarter motifs, leaving a side slit.
6. After working all motifs, work neck, sleeve and lower edgings.

In Round 6, when working a trefoil or V-st, if there is a neighboring motif to which the current motif is to be joined, work the trefoil-join or V-st join as defined above.
