Dita Von Teese splits after just a year
After meeting in April 2001, and dating for four years, it seems the December 2005 marriage between shock rocker Marilyn Manson and burlesque dancer Dita Von Tesse was the real deal.

But just over a year of wedlock was enough for Von Teese, it seems, as she filed divorce papers late last month in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

The New York Post reports, Von Teese had been planning to divorce the 38-year-old musician for many months, but had been unable to locate him for some time and had even moved out of their home without him knowing.

The pair wed famously in December 2005 at Gurteen Castle in Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, Ireland, the home of artist Gottfried Helnwein. Attending the do, which was officiated by surrealist film director and comic book writer Alejandro Jodorowsky, were stars including Lisa Marie Presley and film director David Lynch along with 60 other guests.
