Half / Full Time Bets |
Half / Full Betting is now part of the standard set of soccer betting, and at https://footballbettingguide.co.ke/betting-sites/sportpesa.html. This type of bet is a modification or further development of the equally popular half bet. In this special form, it is important to correctly guess both the half-time score and the final result of the sporting event.
This particular form of break betting is actually a double bet in Betting in Kenya. If successful, it is necessary to correctly predict and two events will occur: the half-time score and the final score of the game. It is not necessary to predict the exact result. Predictions are based on a familiar 1X2 format (1 = home win, X = draw, 2 = away win). This opens up nine different tips for the sports bettor:
- Break / final score
- hosts 1/1 leads | Home team wins
- 1 / X leads the hosts | attract
- 1/2 Home Leadership | The visiting team wins
- X / 1 draw | Home team wins
- X / X draw | attract
- X / 2 draws | The visiting team wins
- 2/1 away | Home team wins
- 2 / X leaders of away teams | attract
- 2/2 away leaders | The visiting team wins
The mathematical probability of winning a sports bet is a modest 11.11% due to nine possible outcomes. What makes this type of bet especially attractive is the correspondingly high betting odds. Already now you can make big profits in small amounts. The break / full-time betting principle can of course be applied to other sports as well, with playing time such as ice hockey (three sections) or basketball (four sections) divided in different ways. Due to the increasing complexity with multiple game sections, such interim / final bets can only be placed occasionally in other sports areas.
As stated, in football there are nine possible exit options for halftime / full-time betting. Because of this multitude of options, the stakes are very high. Let's now look at a specific example and the associated odds to make a better impression - playing Tottenham Hotspur Champions League against Real Madrid should help us:
Selection - Quota
1 / 1 - 5.00
1 / X - 13.50
1 / 2 - 21.00
X / 1 - 7.50
X / X - 6.00
X / 2 - 5.75
2 / 1 - 26.00
2 / X - 13.00
2 / 2 - 3.50
For comparison: the usual bet on the result in 1X2 format. As you can see, the lowest odds in the break / full time variant are almost as high as the highest odds in the normal outcome bet. Therefore, it is not surprising that this type of betting is becoming more and more popular.
- Tip 1 | Quota 3.00
- Tip X | Quota 3.60
- Tip 2 | Quota 2.20
An example of such a bet:
As stated on this page, time / full time bets are more profitable. We would like to illustrate this once again with an example.
As an example, let's take AZ Alkmaar against Victoria Pilsen in the 2020/21 Champions League qualification (odds taken from Tipico as of 26 August 2020):
- The score of the first half / final 1: 1 with odds of 3.10
- 50 euros x 3.10 = 155 euros
If you divide 50 euros:
- Team 1 wins the 1st half: odds 2.55 Tip 1: odds 1.95
- 25 euros x 2.55 = 63.75 euros 25 euros x 1.95 = 48.75 euros
- Total: 112.50 €
With a half / full-time bet, you could have earned 42.50 € more profit. Even if you gave up € 40 for 1 tip on the first break and only € 10 for 1 tip, the difference would be € 33.
Next, we want to present you with a set of important strategic considerations to ensure that you maximize the chances of your personal betting success!
For sports betting in general and for half / full time betting in particular, it is of course helpful to have a look at the betting statistics and important tables. The fact that more draws occur after the first half than after regular time should not be a secret to sports bettors with an interest in football. However, sometimes a closer look at the statistics and the most recent games of the respective teams reveals much more specific patterns.
