Donald Hoffman: Do we see reality as it is? |
Once we let go of our massively intuitive but massively false assumption about the nature of reality, it opens up new ways to think about life's greatest mystery. I bet that reality will end up turning out to be more fascinating and unexpected than we've ever imagined.

I wanted to prepare the best birthday greeting ever for you …But this greeting card was all I could afford. Happy birthday!
Birthdays are very special occasions that call for very special celebrations. Let’s celebrate your birthday today!
Birthdays can come and go, so you need to Go Go Go. We wish you an unforgettable birthday!
Having blown out one more candle — means that you have lived another year with happiness and you have made our world a little bit better place. Make all the days of your life and every candle count. Have a wonderful birthday!
Celebrate the best of your birthdays today, but you have to remember celebrate every day, along with the happiness that each day brings.
Happy birthday to you! Here’s wishing you a day filled with delight and fun!
Congratulations on becoming even more experienced. I’m not sure what you have learned this year, but I know every experience makes us people we are today. Happy birthday.
Don’t count your years. Count all the cheers and the wishes.
Don’t be looking for a heaven in the sky. You can make your own heaven right here and right now.
For your birthday, I just want to say: I hope you can see how special you are to me. Happy birthday, my love!
Forever good-looking and young. That is all I wanted to wish on your birthday!
Forget how long you have lived. Look at how much you have accomplished and how many accomplishments lie before you. Happy birthday.
Good things happen only when you just go for them. Happy birthday!
Happiness is not a reward; it is a gift. Happy birthday.
Happy Birthday! I have got a feeling that this year is going be your best yet.
Friends are ones who understand your past, believe in your future, and accept you just the way you are today – even if you are getting older. Happy birthday.

The book of life. Let's sing))) |

Brené Brown: The power of vulnerability |
This is what I have found: to let ourselves be seen, deeply seen, vulnerably seen; to love with our whole hearts, even though there's no guarantee -- and that's really hard, and I can tell you as a parent, that's excruciatingly difficult -- to practice gratitude and joy in those moments of terror, when we're wondering, "Can I love you this much? Can I believe in this this passionately? Can I be this fierce about this?" just to be able to stop and, instead of catastrophizing what might happen, to say, "I'm just so grateful, because to feel this vulnerable means I'm alive." And the last, which I think is probably the most important, is to believe that we're enough. Because when we work from a place, I believe, that says, "I'm enough," then we stop screaming and start listening,we're kinder and gentler to the people around us, and we're kinder and gentler to ourselves.
