Художник сюрреалист Michael Cheval (Михаил Хохлачев)


Майкл Чевэл общепризнанный ведущий современный художник в мире, специализирующемся на абсурдистских картинах, рисунках и портретах.
По определению автора, "абсурд" является перевернутой стороной реальности, обратной стороной логики. Он не выходит за пределы мечты сюрреалиста или работы подсознания.
Это игра воображения, где все связи были тщательно подобраны, чтобы построить связанный сюжет.Любая из картин Майкла - это карта его путешествия в иллюзию. Его работы зачастую метафорические, и требуют острый глаз, чтобы расшифровать зачастую скрытые намеки.
Майкл Чевэл родился в 1966 году в Котельниково, небольшом городке на юге России. Вырос в артистической семье, любовь к рисованию проявилась с самого раннего детства. Его отец, Михаил Хохлачев, художник-самоучка, а дед, Юрий Липов, профессиональный художник и скульптор. Способность все схватывать "на лету" позволила ему уже в три года начать рисовать сложные композиции.
В 1980г. выехал в Германию, затем в 1986г вернулся в Туркмению. В 1992г. Михаил закончил Ашхабадскую школу изобразительных искусств. А в 1997г эмигрировал в США, где и проживает.
