When Signs of Life by Poets of the Fall was released in 2005, the sleeve notes contained a link to a secret page on the website which required a login and password. The secret page contained a Dramadance remix of Lift, plus downloadable wallpapers of Signs of Life album artwork and live photos, as well as this short audio greeting from Marko Saaresto (introduced here as Mark), lead singer and lyric-writer of the band.

The later website update unfortunately rendered this secret page obsolete. The login page can still be accessed at Wayback Machine but does not lead anywhere (happy to be corrected on this if anyone knows how!).

Anyway I looked around and couldn't find any upload of this short snippet and figured that as the page was no longer available, it would no longer cause the band any harm, financial or otherwise, to upload it. It's only short, but it's a nice throwback (and I know I always find it emotional how he says he hopes they have a great time with it for many years to come - you did, Marko, you did! 16 years later you even released a new version of Stay!).

All copyright for photo and audio belongs for Poets of the Fall and Marko Saaresto, Olli Tukiainen and Markus Kaarlonen.

Секретная страница содержала ремикс на песню Lift в стиле Dramadance, а также загружаемые обои с обложками альбома Signs of Life и фотографии с концертов, а также это короткое аудио-приветствие от Марко Сааресто (представленного здесь как Марк), вокалиста и автора текстов группы.

Более позднее обновление веб-сайта, к сожалению, сделало эту секретную страницу устаревшей. Страница входа в систему по-прежнему доступна на Wayback Machine, но никуда не ведет (будем рады, если кто-нибудь исправит это, если знает, как!).

* Я уже писала про этот сайт, он статистический ( просто инфа и статистика). Меня терзают опасения, что и он накроется ( тьфу-тьфу-тьфу). А ещё, что заблокируют ютубе ( как следствие из всего, уже есть инфа в новостях ). А ведь на горизонте новое видео и альбом ( тоска и печаль ). А ВКОНТАКТЕ они крайне редкие гости. Реальное расстройство.
Но давайте трезво смотреть на вещи. Корабль должен идти дальше. И я надеюсь, мы не будем наблюдать лишь его след на воде.
