Container planting combinations

In this instance, Claudia has used the following plants for the trough and around edge:

Athyrium nipponicum
Thymus Silver Posie
Thymus Doone Valley
Perovskia Blue Spires
Penstemon Huskers Red
Alchemilla mollis
Cimicifuga
Mint
Buxus Sempevirens
Creeping Thyme
Pratia Pendunculata

 

Now for some planting ideas for simple terracotta pots.

In this terracotta pot, Claudia has used a simple combination of White Violas and Stipa Tenuissima.

And here is another simple white scheme. In this planter Claudia has used a combination ofSantolina which she does not allow to flower and white geranium planted together in a terracotta pot.
