This started off as a grey squirrel and turned into a red one along the way. I don't think I have seen a red one although a few years ago I was convinced that I had glimpsed one In a London park. I work in different ways to create these cardboard cut outs. Sometimes I gather some off cuts and scraps of paper together and see if they suggest a direction. Or sometimes I decide on an animal or figure and find scraps to match. I often make some patterns especially for that cut out. This one was made by making up sheets of patterns and textures, laying them down together and seeing what comes to mind. These patterns said rhinoceros to me! #100dayproject #100daysofcardboardcollage #paperart...
