a spicy fix

Posted: 18 Jan 2011 12:28 PM PST

my kitchen spices were out of control. Sooo, I took my leftover ornament hook tins and glued a magnet on the back of each one and put 8 of my most used spices in them. january 2011 025 1

More wannabe labels are made by typing them up and printing them out on plain white paper, cut them up, put a piece of satin gift wrap tape over the top of them. They stick to the side of my fridge because we have one of those cool fridges with the pretend stainless on the front and black regular fridge on the side.january 2011 015 1

The rest now fit in the drawer to the left of the oven. As you can see I stick with one brand of the finest, most select, most expensive seasonings ;)

They are just to the left of the stove, above little hands’ reach. january 2011 026 1

If I still like them this much in a month or so, I may purchase a bunch more on etsy and put most of them up there. Workin’ on that orange oak!!

Do you have a favorite way to organize your spices?
