A week ago, the Communist Party submitted to the country its candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation. It was not the permanent leader of the party Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov, whom everyone expected to see again at the elections, but Pavel Nikolayevich Grudinin, the general director of the Lenin State Farm named after Lenin.
At the moment, the Internet is quite emotionally discussing the identity of the new candidate. Every day - new articles of varying degrees of saturation with facts and opinions. With the naked eye, a split is seen among supporters of leftist views, ideological Communists and the electors of the Communist Party. The Communist Party itself put the bandwagon on, choosing an ambiguous candidate.
Let's start with the fact that Grudinin is little known outside the Moscow region: at one time he was a deputy of the regional Duma. Some authors on the Net put it in a positive light, because the unknown means that there is no negative image, and any image in general. It would seem that the candidate had a simple task - to create an attractive image for the voters by his efforts.
Nevertheless, Grudinin did not cope with this task: exposing articles in the press expose him as a very ambiguous personality. Literally in a few days, the facts from Grudinin's biography became known, which do not adorn him at all. Moreover, they go against the ideology of the CPRF, and with some of its own statements. It's amazing that the critics of the new candidate are not the liberals who are supposed to frighten the inhabitants with the "red threat", but supporters of communist ideas.
The political scientist, the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, the director of the Information and Analytical Department of the Strategy Center Dmitry Yuriev expressed his opinion on the new candidate from the Communist Party:
"From my point of view, the nomination of Grudinin can lead to very serious and unexpected results. The electorate of the Communist Party votes not for a person, but for a party. It could be assumed that people will close their eyes to the specifics of the person. "
Nevertheless, Grudinin's candidacy turned out to be so contradictory that it causes arguments within the party itself.
"Grudinin immediately clearly indicated his position. He, on the one hand, pushes the left political community. On the other hand, in foreign policy and in everything else, he behaves like a capitalist and a liberal, "the expert believes.
In the opinion of people who share the ideas of the Communist Party, it is extremely strange from the party of working people to nominate a capitalist proprietor who owns 40% of the Lenin State Farm named after Lenin. However, this is not all. Grudinin is also a minority shareholder of several companies, incl. business projects of his wife and sons.
Some of those who bore on the breastbone "stilts", they give him credit that employees of his company receive 78 thousand rubles, which is incredibly much for agriculture. But in fact - this is "exhibition" peasants, suitable for PR, and they are not enough on the farm. The main work is carried out by seasonal workers, who for pennies, and even for a natural payment, work in the fields. For a year they pass through the Sredninsky "state farm" to 20 thousand.
However, agriculture is not the main revenue item of the ZAO Lenin State Farm. The main profit comes from leasing state farms to shopping and entertainment complexes and dealer centers of automakers. Another major source of income is the resale of imported strawberries (Turkey, Greece, Poland) under the guise of own.
True, in this case Grudinin made a serious mistake - he did not take care of the company's boxes, so in Moscow you could see a strawberry in a package with Turkish and Greek inscriptions, but Russia indicated the country of origin on the price tags. At the same time, the size of the berries clearly did not match the habitually small Moscow suburbs.
Some critics Grudinin involuntarily appear comparisons with the Ukrainian Poroshenko.
"Grudinin himself says that he is a billionaire. To expect that the billionaire will build socialism is akin to the hopes that the oligarch Poroshenko will be beaten by the oligarchy, " wrote one of the authors on the Web.
In the Manifesto of the Communist Party of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, which is the fundamental document for the communist movement, the main objectives are the destruction of private property and the class of capitalists and the liberation of workers from exploitation. Can Grudinin honestly say that this is his goal? How much does the call of the Ukrainian oligarch Poroshenko to liberate Ukraine from the power of the oligarchs, as much as the words of the capitalist Grudinin about social justice.
True, Grudinin has a "serious justification" just in case - he is non-partisan. Indeed, since Pavel Nikolayevich is not a member of the Communist Party, he is not obliged to observe party discipline and share his ideology. And given that he used to run from faction to faction, one can expect that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is unlikely to be true either. Until the first serious disagreement.
