Completely self-taught, Soong takes photographs from an artistic perspective. But his diverse education adds richness and depth to his photographs. His extensive training in music and the arts have given him the discipline and focus necessary to capture birds in the wild. Each photograph looks like a painting. Its meaning is different for each person, but Soong's ultimate hope is to inspire people to see the world in a different way. In creating a dialog with the viewer, his mind as an artist is enriched and the process becomes a creative cycle.
