Художник Bernard Louedin родился 21 апреля 1930 года в городе Ренн, Франция. Site Будучи выходцем из семьи со скромным достатком, он не мог позволить себе обучение в университете искусств, но на удачу начинающего художника в его судьбе приняли участие такие именитые художники, как Pierre и Gilles Xavier de Langlais, а так же капеллан местной церкви. Bernard Louedin закончил School of Post-Cubist Golden Rule, факультет кубизма. На творчество художника большое влияние оказала живопись Эль Греко и других фламандских и германских художников. С 1963 года его работы стали предметом многочисленных монографий, фильмов, статей в прессе, его картины приобрело государство. Bernard Louedin о своем творчестве -
"Это мои сюрреалистические сны, в них цивилизация в упадке и потерянна во времени".
