The greatest picture ever, the greatest pilot ever and the greatest plane ever. Yet in contrary with what my flight instructor used to say: "Never share your cockpit with a pilot braver than you -:-)"

A visitor from Spain posted Wed September 5, 2007:
These pilots are absolutely brilliant! They could even lawn mow the backyard anytime. Plus it looks like there's no gravity field for this airplane. Stunning picture.

I sure hope that there are no errant lawn chairs around... because those might've ruined the pilot's day. That is an impressive photograph, especially given the clarity of the whole image, and given a speed of at least 300 knots... impressive all around.

A visitor from Czech Republic posted Mon November 20, 2006:
Yes, it must be more than one meter, but even so, it is too much low and for the next time it can be very dangerous and even lead the a disaster. I donґt prefer exibithions like this. But the shot is great.

Superior skills... being the tech geek that i am.. an analogy that comes to mind is the head of a hard drive skimming over the platters rotating at 7200 RPM :-)

A visitor from New Zealand posted Wed November 8, 2006:
Wow thats a great shot, but wheres the landing gear? or does it have hover capabilities? ahah just joking, but it is a great shot, wouldve loved to be there to see something as cool as that

A visitor from United States posted Tue November 7, 2006:

A visitor from India posted Sun September 24, 2006:
The Russians fly their Fighter jets and the Americans shoot photographs.

A visitor from United States posted Thu September 21, 2006:
As a photograph it is ok, the tip of the jet is clipped and focus not perfect. Catching this is hard no doubt; the motion and so close. But what these guys are doing!!! Wow, that is amazing. How long did they stay down there? That takes some serious solid titanium you-know-whats. I wouldn't post this as art, but as an aviation enthusiast I love it!

A visitor from India posted Tue September 19, 2006:
Stunning! You cannot have any better than this!

Some pilots fly lower than they taxi!

A visitor from United States posted Sun August 27, 2006:
Amazing capture -- it's almost unbelieveable he is flying so low: How can he possibly climb without incurring a tailstrike? Very sharp, great clarity achieved in a picture of what must be a fast-moving aircraft. A superb picture.

A visitor from New Zealand posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Does that pilot drive a car??? Or he uses his SU 30 to cruise on Moscow’s streets??

Imagine you driving and Su 30 overtake you :-)

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 25, 2006:
It must be tough enough to get a good photo of these guys when they're on the ground. Tougher still to snag an action shot where they're flying 2 inches off the runway.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun July 23, 2006:
If he put his undercarage down he would land and not have to flare

Important to say the weight of this one is not the weight of a sports plane or light fighter. It weighs around 30 tons, that's another special feature that makes this look unbelievable! Great picture too!

A visitor from Finland posted Fri June 30, 2006:
Perfect!

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 26, 2006:
I've seen an Extra 300S do this inverted. The pilot must have had nerves of steel. But that's the same for this pilot. a little lower and he ruins a beautiful airplane and... most likely... himself!
