My name is Steve Duff and I am excited to begin my journey with the Lionheart Trauma Support Team. I previously worked in the community mental health setting and gained a deeper understanding of mental health disorders, especially in the area of trauma. I was fortunate enough to work with clients from different backgrounds and gain experience in the treatment of various mental health disorders. It was through this experience that I became passionate about working with individuals that have experienced trauma. I completed my Masters Degree at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky and I am currently working toward my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program at Capella University. I enjoy spending time with my family, kayaking, and practicing martial arts.

Unfortunately, the clinic is not equipped to see patients who have severe, persistent mental illness, substance abuse addiction, or who are court-ordered for treatment. The facility is not equipped with an emergency crisis service and providers may change over time. We are happy to provide referrals to other services for those specific situations. With mental health providers being in short supply, we hope our cash-based system will shorten wait times to see a provider and make mental health care more accessible to our patients.
