When it comes to downgrading, a user needs to clear and start over. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to do this until and unless you’ve submitted payment or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund. So if you can’t figure out how to downgrade TurboTax online by yourself, start using the clear and start over feature, it will erase your return and you’ll start from scratch.
