Memory of a trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. It's one of the most beautiful places in Michigan, in my opinion. Looking down at the shore, 400+ feet down, is very surreal. Just make sure you don't go down to the shore, because climbing back up the dune is an incredibly strenuous and grueling trek, even if you're fit and healthy. Otherwise you better have a lot of money for them to come down to rescue you!

I am super happy with how this came out and I think it may be one of my new personal favorites. Although, rendering the water was quite a challenge. It took me an hour until I was finally happy with it. I wanted to practice combining a fully-lined and colored character and a painted background. The girl is just a stranger, so I changed up her appearance a bit.

SAI2 has been a total blast!! There is very little for me to complain about; it has improved on just about every feature. One of the new tools is the Scatter brush, which was not in the original. I found these really great sparkle scatter brushes which I used for the water:
