Энергия Ци или какие трюки используют мастера Цигуна

Четверг, 24 Сентября 2009 г. 03:38 + в цитатник

This is the final part of the CCTV show exposing a fraud and catching him in the act of cheating. Please look at the other 5 parts! Edited down to fit on YouTube. For the whole 44 minutes of video unedited, please visit: Itsjustnotpossible.com

Some things about part 1:
a) It's pretty obvious something from under the cloth pushes up on the brick causing it to fall over
b) The guy in the tan shirt near the middle is Sima Nan... famous for offering a 1 Million Yuan prize for anyone who can prove they have real powers. He's exposed many dozens and gets death threats regularly.
c) Not sure if the guy at the end (in the black shirt) is a scientist or a magician. He is watching the video, and explaining to the girl what to watch for and how the trick might have been done, and how to test it.

Some things about part 2:
a) Everything before
1:48 you can ignore.
b)
1:54 she places the brick towards the middle of the table, he retrieves the brick and places it in the same spot he does in the demonstration. Why?
c) At
2:56 the guy in the black shirt explains how something underneath pokes the bricks over, then at 3:05 you can see him feel with his finger for the indent under the cloth and places the brick over the indent.
d)
3:41 -3:49 you can see close ups of something causing the table cloth up because something pushes it from beneath.
e)
4:08 she feels that there's an indent herself, and points it out to him. She shows a second one.
f) The second indent is where he puts his jar. At
5:00 a slow motion of the jar shattering shows something below the cloth pushes up to shatter the jar.
g) At
5:18 she provides her own jar and cloth. at 5:44 he fails to shatter it. At 6:00 he tries to replace her cloth with his, she wont let him. At 6:13 you can see both ends have a bulky weight sewn into them. 6:35
the guy with the black shirt explains the weights keep the cloth from flying off when the jar is struck from beneath.

Some things about part 3:
a) At :42 she examines the board. at
1:18 she provides her own brand new plastic bowl, and at 1:38 fills it with water herself.
b) At
2:00 he fails to move it.
c) At
2:17 she examines his bowl, and the guy with black shirt explains the plastic bowl has magnets inside it. at 2:33 she proves this with a compass.
d)
2:46-3:10 she traces a path inside the table with the compass showing pieces of magnet inside it. 3:25
the illustration explains how it works
e) The rest of the video recaps how all the tricks are done.

Some things about part 4:
a) The tv presenter replicates how the tricks are done, and explains a remote device triggers the magnets.

Some things about part 5:
a) Nothing interesting in this clip really. All the debunking happens in the first 3 parts of the video.
b)
2:25 you can hear the weights "clink" against the jar as he covers it proving a metal weight is inside.
c) 3: the animation is trying to explain the concept of chi and how it supposedly is projected outside the body. Complete nonsense!
d)
4:50 apparently the guy has a lot of press clippings. Proves nothing.

Some things about part 6:
a) This video shows them preparing a ping pong table for the demonstrations, but then shows the old man brings his own table to do the demonstrations, and a bucket full of his own props. (
1:50)
b)
1:30
shows a senseless trick as if he's demonstrating something remarkable. Nothing remotely interesting or proof of incredible power here, it's a simple physics trick that anyone can do!
c) The rest of the video isn't important, and shows him doing some ridiculous warmup gestures, and then replicates the same tired tricks from the video that's been on YT for years.

I'm tired of idiots complaining that they watched all six parts and fail to see how he was completely debunked. Let's rehearse the facts that are clearly seen:

1)They show indents in the table cloth, then show something pokes up through the cloth to topple the bricks. When she moves the bricks, he fails to topple them, and then tries to re-position the bricks over his indents. (at :10 of the first video, you can clearly see the table cloth poking up causing the brick to fall)
2)They show there are magnets hidden inside the table and explain a pulley system. When she provides her own bowl (without magnets hidden in the base), he fails to move it.
3)They show weights sewn into the cloth covering the jar. They explain springs or something is triggered to shatter the jar and the weight keeps the jar from flying. When she provides her own jar and cloth, he fails to shatter it.

100% debunking
