We might be using Xbox One's now, but before there was this thing called XB1 in our living room taking space, there was amazing new device released 5,218 days ago, that ended up being the de-facto standard for streaming media from our PC's and direct from the 'net, when XBMC was born. So many things have changed in the 'scene world' since those amazing first Xbox days, so its good to see a team out there still working on the original core of XBMC and adding in little features and improvements for all those people still madly in love with the green box. XBMC4Xbox 3.5.3 has been released. A smaller update again, but includes some weather and scraper fixes, and some library updates. If you use same password on other forum sites change it asap It seems a group is after the long-time Team-Xecuter site that been Rockin' the Xbox Scene since early 2000, and were able to finally 'steal' their database and are trying to un-hash their passwords!! Team-Xecuter has been famous for over a decade in hacking into the original Xbox and Xbox 360, and hopefully in the near future the Xbox One, but it seems someone decided to turn the tables on them and hack TX's big official support forum. Here is official statement from TX regarding what happen: We recently moved to a new server and stupidly left our backend open for an easy attack which has now been fixed. Luckily the guys who gained access left their muddy prints all over the place so it was easy to clean up. What we did find out was more interesting. Who did it, why they did it. If you want a quality hack, use someone who isn't going to leave their signature all over the place and take 5 minutes to find out who they are and have half their team rat out the other half. Nice update for RGH'ing the Phat Xbox360's consoles by 15432 15432 over at hackfaq.net has released custom firmwares in XSVF format for X360ACE v1/v2 to support RGH2 in fat Xbox 360 consoles. The firmware files can be flashed via JTAG interface. ModRobert over at EurAsia is reporting that 15432 has released a nice update for the X360ACE glitch'ing chips that are very affordable let via stable, so now with this custom firmware you be able to easy RGH your Phat Xbox 360 console. Xbox 360's with 500GB and FIFA 15 pack are incompatible with RGH Seems Microsoft has released a new Corona motherboard layout that is using a smaller die and new traces and Nand setup, as such it is currently not possible to RGH (mod) these new Xbox 360 consoles! Looks like Microsoft is still improving the Xbox 360 console, releasing yet another new model, and because it is new PCB layout with a smaller die chipset, it is sadly incompatible with the current RGH hacking setups, leaving those buying these new Xbox 360 consoles unable to mod them correctly. "KonzolozZ over at team-xecuter.com has posted info about a new Xbox 360 Corona motherboard bundled as 500GB + Fifa 15 Pack which is incompatible with RGH. Various observations from the forum post: The CGPU is without IHS, and the type is: 4672991 D-A3;X888841-001. Featuring SKhynix or ST NAND Samsung K4J10324KG-HC14 NAND flash. These are the new 500 GB consoles, the MFR DATE 2014.08.14; LOT NO./DATE: 1436X. The NAND is readable and writeable, after writing ECC it gives 0010 secondary error. The post_out fix adapter doesn't fit." A new Ryse, Fallout and Halo 5 release date? A blogger has published what he claims is the full breadth of Microsoft's plans for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June. To sum up the big leak, let's just say there will be a lot of games! We had the big Sony E3 leak a few days ago, and around the same time we missed the news of a blogger leaking the Microsoft E3 plans, and here it is, and looks like it will be packed with ton of games for the Xbox One: On the DL. This info comes from the highest source and contains near full details of Microsoft E3 2014 conference. I have had corroborations from a number of sources to its legitimacy: -- Ryse 2 is in development and will be announced at the show in a real-time in-game trailer. Gone is the Roman period, enter the medieval setting. The game will offer more freedom of exploration and a refined combat system. The main character is a sell-sword of sorts with a greater destiny. This game looks beyond belief. No release date (possibly late 2016) -- Forza Horizon 2 will be announced for release in October 2014 vai Playground Games. It will once again be open world and set in Louisiana, Missisips, New Mexico, Texas and Arkansas. Full day/night cycle, real time weather. Estimated 80 hour single player. -- 343 Industries will unveil Halo 2: Anniversary. The problem with Internet today is so easy to spread misinformation Sadly the recent breaking news story of the Xbox One console being hacked already to run 'homebrew' was FALSE and full of 'misinformation' and many scene sites have posted even more misinformation Recently, we posted an Xbox One Hacking story which we found on another normally good news site, but we quickly pulled it after we check the original sources and people involved and found it to be filled with misinformation and false facts in regard to the XB1 console and exploit. Here is a recent forum post made by one of those mentioned on the 'other sites' that was quoted in the chat log out of context: Since the original site posted the pastebin of supposed conversation from #xbonehack of efnet of me talking about the implied acquisition of private keys I have tried as hard as possible to get that site, along with others to remove the rumors. As you might have seen, others had confirmed this conversation did not exist in said channel. I feel it is necessary now to post that the information in those logs was in fact misinformation, unfortunately out of context and misleading. There is no current xbone exploit, or keys found, or anything that I am aware of. Please disregard all rumors regarding this information. I am politely asking all sites who have posted these rumors to please remove the news posts as the information is false.
