1 and a half hour quick paint just a little development for the Little White Wolf project, that was originally going to be made into a short film... But after fleshing out the story I had in mind, it's more than a 30 minute film. D8 And I can't do that for now... I doubt 'll end up creating a complete film for this by myself. So maybe just end up being a quick "trailer" type, if anything... on top of these kinds of visual development paintings. So at least I have a ton of clear images in mind now to scrawl out!
I think it was a great shock for everyone that David Bowie has passed away today (I'm still trying to swallow it tbh). I was a big fan of Bowie's music of course but mostly for the big artist he was, how he transcended his earthly lifespan and made his work timeless. May he rest peacefully.
I finally bought a scanner so my list of excuses for not uploading my drawings is dwindling Here's a quick tutorial I put together.
Supplies I used here: Copic Ciao Markers, YR31, YR23, E35, E47, W3 Copic Multiliner, sepia Sakura Gelly Roll Pen, white Copic Bleedproof Marker Pad paper
Tips:
Use the brush nib end of the marker for the nicest blending
If you want smooth colouring, move to the next step before the Copic ink dries. Alcohol evaporates quickly so move fast!
For a more cel-shaded look, let the ink dry completely between each step
If the ink is drying too quickly, you can usually get away with doing a second layer with the same or a slightly lighter colour to keep it wet, before moving onto a darker colour
If you don't have an alcohol-proof ink pen, do the inking last
Make sure the white ink/paint is completely dry before going over it with your marker
You can finish at step 8 if you like the pretty anime "cataract" effect, or go on to step 9 for a more focused-looking eye
I hope you like it! This was so much fun to work on. Landscapes are my life. This is officially my first Toko art piece. Thank you so much for commissioning me AlbinoHound!!
Here's Toad, finished and with a full set of faces thanks to BRStandard. He's also the first model I've created in Trainz: A New Era (as opposed to Trainz 2010). From this point on, all updates and models will work with Trainz from 2010 through to TANE.
(I've corrected Toad's front axle. I didn't realise it was askew when I took the screenshot.)
inspired by @blooniverses cute hug animation to make an animated Amedot Reaper High AU comic (where all the gems are fellow students. in the real comics, theyre teachers)
Legacies #pascalcampion#bedtimestories#Marvel I always wanted my kids to like the stuff I liked when I was a kid...it kind of backfired ...its especially noticeable at bedtime.
Soooooooo this is also another thing out of my element? LOVE LIVE SCHOOL IDOL PROJECT! IDOLS!??!?! HOW DARE ME!?!?!?!?!?!? But I wanted to do the idol group thing once, it's fun! I have a full group for Taiyou coming up this weekend, but in the meantime here is a solo! We all bought our costumes on ebay, I didn't want to try to coordinate sewing plans for nine people, that would be a nightmare. Also, probably wouldn't have been able to find a full group that way either! Luckily, mine fit perfectly!
