Tracklisting (with Peter Bjärgö’s own words about these songs): 1. The Opening (2:17) This song was made in 2001 as a special intro for live performances. 2. Reminiscence (3:26) (unreleased demo, 1994) This is the first song ever recorded as Arcana. I had this song, amongst other, on a tape at my work as a bookbinder here in Eskilstunna. I remember coming to work the same morning that the catastrophe with Estonian ferry happened, and the air was filled with grief. Several persons from the same house as my work died on that boat. Still this day, I think of that terrible disaster when I hear this song. 3. Source of Light (2:25) (unreleased demo, 1994) 4. Fade Away (3:50) (unreleased demo, 1994) 5. Wound (4:25) (unreleased demo, 1994) The first demo I sent to CMI, was with these three songs. Source of Light was the one that made it to the album, here with no female vocals. It as interesting to hear that at this time, I based the rhythm around ad ordinary bassdrum. 6. Lament (5:37) (unreleased demo, 1998) One of few songs I made this year. My studio was not intact when I lived in the Swedish city of Karlstad, so I didn’t get much done. 7. Prophecy of the Inevitable (2:43) (alt. recordings, 1998) The original song was specially made for a Motherdance Compilation. 8. Eclipse of the Soul (1:53) (alt. recordings, 1999) This is one of my favorite songs, and I was very happy when I found this alternative recordings. Not so much difference to you, but a lot to me. You may notice that the choirs are more full than on the mini-cd. 9. Like Statues in the Garden of Dreaming (4:00) (alt. recordings, 2003) This was made for a live performance at Wave Gotik Treffen, Leipzig, in 2003. I was very happy with the result and kept it as a alternative recordings. 10. Through the Grey Horizon (5:34) I write this song soon after the Inner Pale Sun album. Thought it would be on my next album. 11. Wings of Gabriel (4:00) I have not yet explored the Arabic sound at the most. I know I will bare this sound on more songs. I think this is an excellent song to show how much the sound has grown. One of my favorites.

Reviews: Finland's OCTOBER FALLS' atmospheric music is described as minimalist dark folk played with acoustic instruments. When thinking of other bands, OCTOBER FALLS may be compared to ULVER's classic "Kveldsjanger" album, or recently to EMPYRIUM, and even TENHI. OCTOBER FALLS presents a collection of instrumentals, with music composed primarily on the acoustic guitar, flute, and piano. The music is magical and emotional art to say the least in regards to these recordings. This is in a direction long since abandoned by ULVER, and recently embraced by bands such as TENHI and EMPYRIUM.

Reviews: Nordic melancholic Art, very much in the vein of Tenhi or Ulver's acoustic moments. Cello, soft piano tones, choir and acoustic guitar weave beautiful melodies on this release.
Dark Horizon ventures deep into dark forests of Finland to bring you the latest release from October Falls Marras is magical and emotional art to say the least in regards to this recording. This is the direction long since abandoned by Ulver and recently embraced by bands such as Tenhi and Empyrium and now October Falls Dark sad and melancholic acoustic art described as minimalistic dark folk played with acoustic instruments. Reviews: Imagine being high up in the mountains, and a storm gathers. You hear the clouds passing and see the animals running for shelter. The branches moan, and everything dances to the tune of the wind. Afterwards, you can hear the sun breaking through the clouds, while the whole landscape calmly calls for your attention with all its brooks and trees. Such an experience is as breathtaking and memorable as NEBELUNG’s music. NEBELUNG deafen your ears for small talk and superficiality and open them for a Nature mysticism of a kind you seldom experienced before. With the release of the NEBELUNG album "Mistelteinn", Eis & Licht seems to go back to its roots, but the truth is much more interesting. For the first time, this label presents a purely acoustic project whose level is a high one already on the debut. The musical vision of NEBELUNG becomes apparent in sophisticated compositions and the choice of lyrics (Friedrich Nietzsche etc.). We can hope for even more beautiful things to come, as this work seems to be just the beginning of an unmistakable concept. If you are fond of EMPYRIUM, FORSETI, SIGUR RÓS or the folkloristic side of ULVER, you should definitely get hold of "Mistelteinn". This CD is recommended for all mature lovers of Metal, Folk, and Gothic as well. The CD will be released in a limited edition of 600 copies in a Digifile with booklet.
