Ebonized mahogany, carved wood, pewter, mother of pearl, marquetry of stained woods, silver-plated handles and hinges. Movement made by John Broadwood & Sons Ltd., London; case possibly by Broadwood, the Guild of Handicraft or the Pyghtle Works.



Richard Redgrave, English, 1804–1888). ‘Well Spring’ vase. Designed in 1847, made in 1865 by Minton & C. for Felix Summerly’s Art Manufacturers. Porcelain, painted in enamels. 21.8 x 17.8 x 10.7 cm.
